LIT Monthly- Administrative Staff

Sheri JamesonSheri Jameson has been involved in local music for over a decade. Not only has she managed bands, but she has also produced and promoted concerts and events at Curtain Club, Red Blood Club, Galaxy, Deep Ellum Association and DallasRabbit.com. Her claim to fame however, was being co-owner of National Noise Magazine, which had her involved in everything from photography and interviews to production, design, sales and distribution. In fact, Ms. Jameson is so addicted to local music that even marriage couldn't keep her away - she actually married a musician! She is currently a corporate marketing director for a Plano-based company and works her overtime with LIT Monthly.

Chelo OwensChelo Owens has spent her adult life in the bar/music business. She has bartended and/or managed at dozens of clubs throughout the years, covering Deep Ellum, Greenville and beyond. She has spent time managing and promoting as well, and personally knows half the club owners in town. Always professional, she will be making visits to the wildest of joints to ensure LIT Monthly is taking care of business and helping people party all across DFW. Oh yeah, she knows her way around the music scene and will be watching you singer / songwriter folk!

Kenn YoungarKenn Youngar is a marketing genius. He has proven that with successful efforts at SXSW, Ozzfest, the Van Warped Tour, the 2005 World Series (Houston), the NAMM Convention (California) and the State Fair of Texas. He has spent nearly two decades involved with music, management and public relations and currently works in marketing for Monster Energy Drink, BoDog Music and in the sponsorship department of 720 Action Sports. The band he created, Strangleweed, has seen more publicity and success than 99% of DFW bands - mostly due to Mr. Youngar's guerilla marketing techniques. Hell, he even had the Dallas Observer hook-line-and-sinker, publicizing his band weekly. In 2006 he booked/played a triumphant 14-date tour for the American Armed Forces Entertainment Division and rocked our overseas troops.  Now back home, LIT is more than pleased to have him on our staff.  Security!

Rhiannon IrvinRhiannon Irvin has been building and updating web sites since she was 12 years old. At a young age she was fascinated by computers, and the internet, this caused her to grow a love for web design. Most recently she has been the webmaster for The Morris Recreation Center, at Texas A&M University- Commerce. Unfortunately she has to leave that job, because she is transferring schools to University of Texas at Arlington, to persue a degree in Communication Technology. She works full-time, and is a full-time college student, spending her free time making the best of the LIT Monthly web site! Before she moved to Commerce for college, she had spent the previous 5 years going to local metal shows in Ft. Worth, spending nearly every weekend at Ridglea Theatre. That became a bit much of a drive once she moved to Commerce.. But she still made it out when she could, and visited many of the clubs in Dallas as well. She's excited about moving back to Ft. Worth and getting back into the local music scene.
